A seminar was held in the school auditorium on April 21, 2007 in which the parents of the students of classes IX to XII participated. This was the second phase of the on going program conducted by Dr. Vijay Agrawal, a noted writer of various books, presently holding the post of Deputy Director General (Media and Communication).

Dr. Agrawal had had a dialogue with the students earlier and this interactive session was the extension of the same.

Fr. Marianus Kerketta S.J. introduced Mr. Agarwal to the parents by saying that he was thoroughly impressed with Mr. Agrawal’s writing since they agreed with his ideas.

Dr. Agrawal in his speech came up with various problems faced by today’s teenagers, forcing them into an emotional mortuary due to internal tensions and outside pressures. He suggested some solution and elaborated the parents’ role in bringing up there children, who are going through socio-psychological changes, finding themselves unfit to re-establish with the society.

Parents reacted to these solutions and asked their queries about the topics ranging from coaching classes to problems connected with the school. Both Dr. Agarwal and Fr. Principal answered the queries satisfactorily. Father also assured the parents that he would look personally into the areas of concern and do whatever best he could. He also indicated that he had already started talking step towards improving and bringing about a change in certain areas. He hoped to get the same co-operation from the parents in future.
